Terms and Conditions

∙ “AGCO” means the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

∙ “Draw” means the random selection of the Raffle Ticket Winning Number using a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all Raffle Tickets sold for the Draw.

∙ “Draw Time” means the scheduled time at which the Draw takes place for the Raffle or, when a Draw is not able to take place for any reason, the soonest available time after the close of the  Raffle;

∙ “Online Raffle System” means the fixed base or mobile device that communicates with the backend system supplied by Bump 50:50 

∙ “Player” means a person who is eligible to participate in the Raffle in accordance with the regulatory framework including relevant federal and provincial legislation, AGCO terms and conditions, Registrar’s Standards and Directives, the Lottery Licensing Policy Manual, together  with all relevant updates and information bulletins (“AGCO Regulations”) and the terms,  conditions, explanations, rules and procedures enacted specific to this Raffle;

∙ “Prize” is the amount payable to the Winner from the proceeds of the Raffle; ∙ “Raffle” means the electronic 50/50 lottery that will take place online from January 24, 2021 through February 24, 2021.

∙ “Ticket” means the receipt issued by a Raffle Ticket seller from a Raffle Sales Unit containing randomly generated numbers purchased by the Player or a receipt issued online through the Life After Fifty’s Raffle portal following the purchase online of a Ticket.

∙ “Valid Ticket” means a ticket that is not void.

∙ “Winner” means the person(s) who is the bearer of a Winning Ticket and who satisfies all conditions established by Life After Fifty to claim the Prize;

∙ “Winning Number” means the winning number drawn on the Draw date and Draw Time for the Raffle; and

∙ “Winning Ticket” means a valid Ticket that bears a selection that exactly matches the Winning Number.

Release of Liability

By purchasing a Ticket, a Player agrees to be bound by these Rules, Gaming Additions and Regulations

Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Draw.

Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to entrant’s or to any other person’s computer, smart phone, smart watch, tablet, or similar device, related to or resulting from participating in the Draw, or downloading materials from or use of the Organization’s website or website linked to the Organization’s website that is required to be accessed during the purchase of a Ticket.
